Fire Chief

Branden Stevens has been in the Fire Service for the last 29 years. Chief Stevens vision for the Lockwood Fire District is that of service to the community, being the best that we can be for our citizens in their time of need. Chief Stevens began his career in 1995 in with the East Valley Volunteer Fire Department in Helena, MT. While working with the volunteer fire department he attended the Fire Science program at the Helena College of Technology. He then served with the Miles City, Montana Fire Department for 24 years working up through ranks and holding every position up to the rank of Fire Chief. Chief Stevens served as the Fire Chief for MCFR for 6 years. After service with Miles City, Chief Stevens accepted the position of Fire Chief with Lockwood Fire District 8. He is also a member of the Montana DNRC CAT (Incident Management Team) and serves as a Liaison Officer on the command staff. He is a member of the IAFC and Montana State Fire Chiefs Association. Chief Stevens is a nationally registered paramedic and has won numerous State and National Fire Service awards. Chief Stevens and his wife Nikki have been married for 27 years and have four wonderful children.

 

Jeff Crow

Deputy Fire Chief

Deputy Chief Crow has 18 years of experience in emergency services. He started his career as an EMT and Paramedic before joining Lockwood Fire District 8 in 2018. Crow has an associate degree in fire science and paramedicine as well as a bachelor’s degree in biology. Deputy Chief Crow was born and raised in Billings. Deputy Chief Crow is married with four children where he enjoys hiking, fishing, camping, and sports with his wife and children.
