On behalf of the Lockwood Rural Fire District, I would like to welcome you to our web site. I trust that you will find this site educational, informative, and of value. We welcome your comments, suggestions, ideas, and opinions on the use of this site so that we can better serve YOU – the citizens of our community.
As your Fire Chief, I am extremely humbled to have been selected to serve this great agency as the Fire Chief in March of 2007. Since that time, we have undertaken a number of strategic initiatives designed to reorganize the agency to maximize our effectiveness in the delivery of services to you, while maintaining your trust as good stewards of the resources you have provided to us. We are mindful, keeping our eye on the future and adjusting course as necessary to be able to continue to meet your requests for service.
For over 20 years the Fire District has provided services to a very diverse community and area. We are also a diverse organization which relies upon a dedicated group of career and reserve firefighters, administrative assistant and residents to make up our high performance team. The District is governed by an elected board of five trustees. This organization is committed to providing you with high quality cost effective services in your time of need.
I am extremely proud of the fine women and men who make up this agency and execute their responsibilities flawlessly on a daily basis. They are your neighbors, friends, and relatives, and they are actively involved in the community, outside of their employment, to make this area a better place to work and live.
